Curt is a graduate of Miami University and brings more than 35 years of focused experience in retirement plan consulting and advisory services. His career has included diverse experience with large financial institutions such as Wells Fargo Bank and AXA Advisors; boutique firms including Thomas F. White & Company and Offroad Capital Corporation; and independent firms such as Farallon Financial Associates and Union Capital. This broad experience across the public and private investment markets—as an advisor, investor, and entrepreneur—has given Curt a practical perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing retirement plan investors and the professionals who serve them.
As a lecturer and educator specializing in Self-Directed IRAs and Self-Trustee 401(k) Plans, Curt is dedicated to providing clear, practical, and easy-to-understand education and guidance to qualified retirement plan investors, plan sponsors, and professional intermediaries. His focus is helping clients and advisors better understand self-directed strategies and the administrative considerations involved in implementing and maintaining them.
Away from work, Curt enjoys an active lifestyle and the Pacific Northwest’s year-round opportunities for recreation. He continues to enjoy surfing, riding the mountain, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, family, and friends.
